I thought I was going to stay at home entire day during Easter Sunday when my friend texted and said that she was on rest day. We avoided beaches because we knew that people were going to the beach. So, off we went and explored the town of Samboan. We only spent five hours since one of us was going back to work the next day.
Samboan is a fifth income class municipality in the province of Cebu, Philippines. It is a four-hour bus ride from Cebu City and is bounded by the municipality of Ginatilan on the north, Santander on the south, Tañon Strait on the west, and municipality of Oslob on the east.
Here are some of the attractions that we visited at the time:
We wanted to visit the other spots but due to the lack of time, we weren’t able to. Samboan is definitely a must-visit destination. It is rich with natural wonders that one shouldn’t miss when going to Cebu.
Other attractions that you have to pay a visit:
- Da-o Falls
- Balay’g Sawa Falls
- Mt. Bartolina
- Close Marine Sanctuary
- Ponon Hidden Lake
- Tabon Falls
This was one of our unplanned explorations. The time spent might have been short but the experience was totally priceless.
