It was on April 27 when I came up with an idea of camping by the beach. I invited a friend to tag along with me. We planned to go to Tingku Beach in Alcoy but because it was Sunday, the beach was packed like sardines. So instead, we changed itinerary and headed to Oslob. I contacted the caretaker of the resort where I stayed the first time I went there.
So there we pitched our tent in front of the rest house of the resort’s owner fronting the beach.
After an hour setting up everything, we then took a plunge into the ocean. It might not be as clear as the sea in tingku alcoy and the sand is not as white but the idea of just relaxing by the beach had been satisfied.
On our second day, we headed to the lungsod or the main town of Oslob.
Getting around in lungsod was fun and informative. We somehow learned something about the past of Oslob.
The last stop: Tumalog Falls
We headed back to the resort to check out and then chartered a motorcycle or habal-habal to take us to the waterfalls.
I was already stoked upon seeing the waterfalls from afar.
It was even more mesmerizing up-close.
That moment when you feel so close with mother nature. And I just couldn’t get enough of it.
The trip to Alcoy turned to be a big day in Oslob. And we ended our day with a big smile from ear-to-ear on our faces:)
