It was on my bucket list to have a picture with lots of fishes, different kinds of fishes in the background.
I just came back from my Camotes trip when my travel buddy Carlota invited me to tag along with them on their Nalusuan Island day trip. Without a second thought, I said yes to her. So, I packed my things and brought my underwater camera. Unfortunately, for some reason the camera broke just right after we arrived in the island. I was so frustrated with what happened but I didn’t let that ruin the beautiful moment while in the island.
Nalusuan Island has become famous for their marine sanctuary which is perfect for snorkeling and scuba diving and the wide stretch of sand bar. It is a small island that rests adjacent to Bohol Island and Mactan Island.
Our group was able to charter a boat for only 1200 Php. There were 6 of us; thus, we had to pay 200 each for the boat. We also paid 200 Php for the entrance fee and shared 200 Pesos as well to buy food for our lunch. We had our lunch in the boat since it was not allowed to take the food in the island.
You may also have your lunch in their restaurant but that’s going to cost you more.
After lunch, the rest of the time spent on snorkeling. We were not able to enjoy the sand bar because of the high tide. Nevertheless, the experience was all worth it.
If you want to experience the luxury of the resort, you may take advantage of an overnight stay and get a cozy accommodation in the island. You can also enjoy fun-filled activities such as Banana Boat, Kayaking, Paddle Boat, Snorkeling, Jet Ski, Scuba Diving, and more.
