Baguio: 1st day Baguio-Sagada-Bontoc-Banaue trip

Know what is the best thing about adventure? It’s the unexpected things that might happen during the trip. This Baguio-Sagada-Bontoc-Banaue trip was supposed to be Palawan. We planned this in January and we even booked a ticket already. A week before the trip, some of our colleagues informed us that they wouldn’t be able to make it. For some reason, we also cancelled the Palawan trip and planned this instead.

Since we only had 5 days to squeeze in all our activities, we organized the itinerary painstakingly in order to have a hassle-free vacation.

Baguio City is a seven-hour bust trip from Manila with three short stops. Our bus left at 8:00A.M. and reached the destination at 3:00P.M. We just checked-in and left our stuff at the hotel and then went ahead to take our late lunch at Luto ni Juan.

After we fill up our stomach, we went to minesview and had our photo-shoot hehe. As expected, the place was not too crowded because it was already midyear. We stayed there for about two hours, just enough to get a good sight of the city.

On our way to the hotel, we dropped by at Sm City Baguio to buy food and drinks for our dinner. So here, if you don’t want to be strapped for cash, you can just buy food at a nearby store or in any affordable kitchenette.

And then on the next day, we went to Lady of Lourdes Grotto, Diplomat Hotel, and Burnam Park.

We wanted to go to La Pressa but we couldn’t squeeze it in because we needed to catch the last trip to Sagada.
