Negros Oriental: Niludhan Falls

Negros Oriental surely does have plenty of natural attractions. Some of these are stunning waterfalls.

 

Niludhan Falls is just one of the most spectacular attractions that makes Negros Oriental one of a kind. This waterfalls has been dubbed as the “Niagara Falls of Negros Oriental” and considered as pride of the province.

It is true that most of the natural wonders are best kept in the remote places. It possesses a natural beauty that everyone could not resist despite the rough and bumpy road.

 

Niludhan Falls is located in Barangay Dawis, Bayawan City which is accessible via motorcycle or via bus (which is not recommended). The best option to get there is via motorcycle since buses bound for Mabinay have about one or two hours interval; thus, bus trip will consume half of the time of your Niludhan falls adventure.

 

 

How to get there?

 

From Dumaguete City ceres bus terminal, ride a bus bound for Bayawan and alight at Bayawan bus terminal. From there you may hire a motorcycle that will take you to Niludhan Falls. Travel time should take about an hour. Click here to see the detailed expenses.
