Travel Guide: Lusno Falls

This was only a side trip from our camping in Basdaku, Moalboal. Just last night when everyone talked about waterfalls, I suggested Lusno falls since it was the nearest waterfalls from Moalboal when going back to Cebu City. Going to Lusno Falls could be a little challenging especially when it rains. For tips, visit chasingpotatoes.wordpress.com. The following is a guide that might help you plan your trip in the future:

Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1

3:00PM                 :               Bus Departure

6:00PM                 :               Arrival in Basdaku Beach Resort

8:00PM                 :               Dinner

Day 2

1:00AM                                :               Lights Off

5:30AM                                :               Wake up call

6:30AM                                :               Breakfast

9:30AM                                :               Ronda/Lusno Falls

3:00PM                                :               Late lunch/Bus Departure: Back to Cebu City

How to get there?

From Cebu South Bus Terminal, ride a bus bound for Bato via Barili or anything that passes by Ronda and just tell the driver to drop you at their market. We paid Php85(non-a/c) from Ronda back to Cebu City, so I surmised the fare from Cebu City is also the same.

From the market, you can charter a motorcycle or habal-habal and tell the driver that you are going to Lusno falls so that he will drop you at the exact starting point. To get to the falls, you can either get a tour guide or just ask around for the direction. Trek should take you just a few minutes.
