7 Waterfalls in Cebu that do not require a grueling trek

If you search “waterfalls in Cebu” on Google, you will find a list of 90 waterfalls in which some require long hours and exhausting trek.

 

Among these waterfalls, I have finally listed down 7 wonderful waterfalls that are accessible or a little more than mild but no more than extreme depending on your adventure level. This list is in no particular order and is according to my personal choice.

 

Kawasan Falls

How to get there?

Ride a bus bound to Badian or Moalboal at Cebu South Bus Terminal. Travel time takes about 3 – 4 hours. Disembark the bus when you reach Badian and see the Matutinao Church. From there, you can start trekking to Kawasan Falls.

 

Aguinid Falls

How to get there?

Get on a Bato via Barili at Cebu South Bus Terminal. Tell the driver that you are going to Aguinid Falls to drop you at the jump off point.

 

Inambacan Falls

How to get there?

Take the ceres bus plying Bato via Barili route at Cebu South Bus Terminal. Just tell the conductor or driver to drop you at the jump off point of Inambakan Falls. Then ride a motorbike or habal-habal to take you there. Travel time takes approximately 4 hours.

 

Tumalog Falls

How to get there?

If you are going to Tumalog falls as a side trip for your Oslob whale shark trip, you may just hire a motorbike or habal-habal in the area to take you to the falls. However, if you are coming straight from Cebu City, ride a ceres bus bound for Oslob or Bato via Liloan at Cebu South Bus Terminal and tell the driver to drop you at the jump off point of Tumalog Falls.

 

Lusno Falls

How to get there?

From Cebu South Bus Terminal, ride a bus bound for Bato via Barili or anyting that passes by Ronda and just tell the driver to drop you at their market. From there, you can charter a motorcycle/habal-habal to take you to the jump off point. From there, you can trek all the way to the falls. Trek should only take a few minutes.

 

Mantayupan Falls

How to get there?

Ride a bus bound for Bato via Barili at Cebu South Bus Terminal. Alight at shamrock bakeshop. From there, ride a motorcycle/habal-habal to Mantayupan Falls.

 

Dau Falls

How to get there?

Take the bus bound for Bato via Barili at Cebu South Bus Terminal. Tell the driver to drop you at the jump off point in Brgy . Suba, Samboan. Hire a habal-habal to Dau falls. Once you reach the reception area, you need to trek for about a few minutes.
